meet the TEACHER!

Our sewing classes are led by master sewist, and Street Craftery founder, Da’Shika A. Street.

Da’Shika offers over 30 years of sewing experience and is passionate about sharing her gift for textile art with learners of all ages.

In our Downtown Akron studio, students learn common sewing terminology, machine safety, pattern drafting, cutting, and constructing projects from start to finish!

BEGINNERS COURSES

In our group beginners sewing classes, students ages 8 years to adult learn the fundamentals of machine sewing, operation, and project construction in as little as 4 weeks!
